Why Indian Women Are Gang Raped???

                                                                                                                   The official figure in India shows that 256,329 violent crimes were recorded against women in a year 2012.   Delhi has been dubbed the 'rape capital of India' with the number of rapes in the city rising 17 percent to 661 this year alone though the chief Minister of Delhi has been heading by a women called Shiela Dixit, even than she failed to give protection to her gender in New Delhi. Similar to terrorist, rapist has no religion and character.

On 16th December, 2012, a 23 years old girls was brutally gang raped by 6 person in 'moving a bus' which arose great and sever protest and outrages against police and government of India for their failure to control the criminals to assault the women not only in Delhi but also in the whole of India.

There is hardly any days when women in any corner of India are not raped by some one without even seeing the age of woman. The disease of 'gang rape' has became an endemic through out India due to government and social system laxity.

The violence against Indian women is not only widespread but it has also 'deep roots' repercussion in our society.There are major 9 causes why people commit crime against women in India.  

1.  No Fear of Law : "Fear is the key," but in India the major problem of huge rate of commission of crimes is that there is no fear of law amongst any citizens of India not to speak of rapist. Our system of administration has become so rotten and corrupt that after committing crime,  there is hardly 26% rate of conviction because all trail in courts depend upon 'witnesses' which become hostile with passage of time or having received 'wild threat' from criminals
2. Lesser Judges : There are very few judges per 1 lac of population.  In India,  there are 14 judges against 100000 population while in developed nation this figure is 40 per 100000. Which is the major cause of delay of justice because every criminal or civil suit takes at least 7 to 14 years in general till it comes to conclusion for judgement and no sufferer wants to suffer again in the hands of Judiciary so he feel burdensome to report the case to police'
3. Police behaviour not human : In India, the police is next to God because they wear skin of lion, once they wear it than they do not care for law and instead of reinforcing laws amongst citizens they themselves enters into breaking the law. They created such type of 'goonda impression' amongst society that no respectable person dare to go to police station to file complaint against any crime, and a women alone can never think of approaching police station, neither society permits her to go to police station alone.                                                                                             It is the major stigma that a women despite assault on her remain mum, and men continue to assault her again and again. Most of illegal business in the society is the result of police hand in gloves with goondas. Most of goonda enjoy hospitality of SHO in police station because if one commits crime than others mint money from criminals.
4. Fashion : Many old age or conservative people of India attributes to main cause of rapes in India because women in general has 'switched over to their dresses from Indian dresses to western dresses'. Many women ask what is harm in it. They forget, every country is known by its culture so India be, in Indian dresses which enroll and cover women exotic parts while in western dresses all parts of body exhibit them(women) sexy which intends the youngster to assault the women.
5. Internet & TV : Internet and TV is the major cause to provocative atmosphere which prompt men to assault the women and when women resist they either try to kill her or brutally beat her.                                                                                      The internet which is full of porno material and youngsters in cluster-may be boy or girl, they  watch porno material on their mobile, laptop or computers freely and easily while TV provides 'Five star' platform to spread 'sex pollution' with their serials and programme which  make easy prey of lone women into their net in their excited states of sex. The TV shows only that programme again and again which had been 'censured in the film' because there is no regulatory body to stop them.
6. Insensitiveness of Public : Gang rapers usually pick up the girl from street, bus stand , en route to school etc  because public fear of goondasim-which usually considered by blessing of police.  Many streets are poorly lit, and there’s a lack of women’s toilets in villages or poor colonies. 
7. Women Status have changed : 'Women status in India has changed considerably from house wife to working ladies'.  Gone are the days when she remained confine to home, now there is hardly any offices, factories, establishment where she does not work so she has to come out of his house alone, so the cases of rape has increased  from since many many years backs. Secondly, the rise in crime rates is also result of 'four times increase in population of India'.   
8. Lesser Female Police : In India, though the woman is working every where but still it occupies only 4% in police against 48% their gender population in India. So, naturally, they has less protection visi-a-vis to 'change in their status from house hold to working ladies.'   
9. Flirtness of women : Women has become more flirt than before. She had little freedom to speak in public before but TV serials and films dialogue has tutored her to speak freely with their colleague and bosses freely and frankly  without any fear so she easily become prey to sex of male.
   
   There are already many laws in our books,  many rapist have been convicted and many have got scott free, there is hardly iota of doubt that there will be any dent in the  serpentine problem of gang rape in coming days with the enactment of new stringent law unless there is sanctity of  enforcement of law in India. The politicians have lost all grips and respect amongst bureaucrats due to corruption and their engagement in criminal activities.
   
   If no major steps are taken to protect the modesty and dignity of women, days are not far when perpetuals incidents of 'gang rape' of women will adversely effect the GDP of India because parents will desist from sending their daughter to school, colleges, jobs. and outside with fear of being gang raped.
